Amanda Carbajal is a Registered Psychologist (6374) in the Province of Alberta, and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. They graduated from their Master of Counselling program through Athabasca University in 2022. Amanda also has several years’ experience working with immigrant and refugee children, youth, and families; children and youth with ADHD; and LGBTQIA2S+ children, youth, and families. They use an integrative approach to tailor therapy to the needs of each client, with a primary base in being person-centered and feedback-informed. Amanda also utilizes mindfulness and play-based techniques to support clients with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and some of the big behaviours that can come with these challenges, as well as supporting clients with building self esteem, self understanding, executive skills, social skills, and emotional recognition and regulation.
